Granular MOP prices in Northwest Europe were assessed slightly lower this week as some market participants disagreed with prior suggestions that supply had tightened as a result of the recent shutdown of ICL’s operations in Spain. ICL halted its Spanish operations three weeks ago due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19) and following “instructions of the authorities”.
