India: Countrywide MOP inventories dip 1%

India’s countrywide MOP inventories have dipped 1% over the last week to 1.61 Mt, according to updated data from the Department of Fertilizers (DoF). The stocks are roughly comparable to their level from one month ago. Application of MOP increased rapidly during the first few months of the Kharif season and is expected to remain high because of higher-than-average crop acreage.
