USA: May UAN export jump does not alter overall trajectory

A big jump in UAN exports during May 2020 versus May 2019 was insufficient to alter the decline in shipments recorded during the prior 10 months of the market year. According to the latest figures from the US Department of Commerce, May 2020 UAN exports were 98,919 st (89,739 t), a 136% jump from May 2019. These volumes brought the July 2019-May 2020 imports to 806,761 st (731,889 t), a 26% decline from the prior year period.
