France: UAN forward offers edge higher

UAN offers for September and October delivery as high as €154-155/t FCA were cited by market sources at Rouen this week. While prompt sales are largely absent during the harvest, producers are optimistic that the recent price increase in forward offers will stick and result in firm sales prices for the autumn months. Traders, on the other hand, are more cautious and point to very limited activity at these offer levels.
