Nepal blacklists companies amid fertiliser shortage

Nepal is understood to be struggling with a shortage of fertilizer after two companies failed to complete deliveries planned from earlier this year. Nepal’s Krishi Samagri Company Limited (KSCL) failed to receive the fertilizer, believed to be urea, from Shailung Enterprises and Honiko Multiple pursuant to a deal made in April, according to a report by the Himalayan Times on September 9.
