Italy: Covid-19 concern rising also for urea

Truck deliveries of urea from inventory and discharge of arriving vessels in Italy are continuing, so far. There is growing concern that restrictions on the back of the severe outbreaks of the Covid-19 virus will significantly impact fertilizer movements for spring application. Italian distributors report that offers for granular urea have been raised by suppliers to $290/t FCA in bulk from prior purchases in inventory at ports such as Ravenna, and that limited volumes did trade at the revised price.
