Suppliers of urea loading from the Baltic Sea have been approached by numerous traders for supply against possible awards in the May 1 MMTC tender that triggered counters at $279.74/t CFR West Coast India (WCI). The package for freight and costs for a 50,000 t cargo for WCI discharge are assessed in the low $30s/t, suggesting returns above $245/t FOB when allowing for a small margin for an intermediary.
