Ammonium sulphate export prices from China slumped to a new low while CAN in Germany was assessed lower and AN in France a touch higher. UAN prices at Rouen were unchanged. Ammonium Sulphate Caprolactam-grade AS prices in China crashed through last week's low to reach $85/t FOB this week for a sale into South Korea — the lowest price since Fertilizer Week began the series in November 2013. The benchmark has fallen as much as 28% since the start of 2019, or $33/t, dragged lower by increased production and poor demand from NPK producers. Ammonium chloride may be soaking up some AS demand in China, one participant suggested this week.
