Eni’s Ghana output plans

Italy’s Eni is on course to produce first gas from its Ghana operations this month, with output rising to 5.01 MMcm/d (180 MMcf/d) – enough to more than double national output by year-end, according to reports. Eni, which started oil production from a 45,000 b/d reserves a year ago, will start producing natural gas on 26 June from its Sankofa field in a second phase of the operator’s US $7.9 Bn Offshore Cape Three Point project.
