Cooper wins Otway Basin block

Cooper Energy has won exploration permit VIC/P76, which lies near to its recent Annie gas find in the Otway Basin off Victoria, Australia. VIC/P76 covers an area of 162sq km at water depths ranging from 60m (197ft) to 70m (230ft). The permit is surrounded by the recently depleted Minerva gas field to the east and the pro- ducing Casino, Henry and Netherby gas fields to the west, Cooper said.
