NZ Tawhaki-1 comes up dry

Beach Energy reports that the Tawhaki-1 explo- ration well in the Great South Basin offshore New Zealand has failed to encounter hydrocarbons. On 19 February, OMV as operator of the Tawhaki-1 exploration well, reported that the well drilled by the COSL Prospector rig had reached a target depth of 2,980m (9,777ft).
