Tellurian Driving Down LNG Prices to Japan

US firm Tellurian is confident it can sell LNG supplies to Japanese buyers at around $6/MMBtu on a delivered basis, due to its ability to lower liquefaction costs and optimize upstream production and deliveries. This is around $2/MMBtu lower than the $8/MMBtu fixed destination price that Tellurian had offered at an industry event in April (IOD Apr.5’17).
