Ghana Kicks Off Licensing Round

Ghana formally launched its first-ever licensing round Monday, offering three Tano Basin blocks in an open tender and two other deepwater blocks that will be awarded through direct negotiation. One more will be reserved for state Ghana National Petroleum Corp. and three others will be offered in a future round, according to the country's Petroleum Commission (IOD Apr.13'18).
