Ghana's Contribution to the Round Table Discussion

I feel privileged for the opportunity to give my recommendations to this conference. I am most grateful to the organizers and the committee who made it possible for this conference to take place, and finally to the speakers I say a very big thank you for all the efforts made for plant medicine. I know it is not an easy task, especially when you involve indigenous people and traditional healers, who can be such a problem. I must say that this is the first-ever conference I have attended where people do not remind us of how stupid and primitive we are, but that traditional medicine is potent and should be conserved and that everyone here is working really hard to conserve and develop medicinal plants. This conference has also given us the chance to know some in our modem world who still have us at heart, want to hear us and our views, and contribute to the development of health care.
