Citing bad faith on the part of leftist rebel group the Ejercito de Liberacion Nacional (ELN), Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos has recalled his negotiating team from neutral ground in Quito, Ecuador, where peace talks were taking place. Santos made the move after various attacks against oil infrastructure occurred in the early morning hours on Wednesday, the day after a 101-day bilateral cease-fire ended.
