Rosneft to Pay Record Dividends

Despite the collapse of oil prices, Russia’s biggest oil producer, state-controlled Rosneft, is going to pay record dividends for 2019 amounting to 50% of its net profits under International Financial Reporting Standards. Rosneft said Thursday that its board of directors recommended a final dividend payment of 18.07 rubles (23c) per share for 2019, which comes on top of 15.34 rubles/share paid for the first half of last year. Total payments will amount to 33.41 rubles (44c)/share.
