US Commission Looks at Using Gasoline Tax to Reduce Deficit

A bipartisan deficit reduction commission in the US will take a final vote Friday on a proposal to cut $3.8 trillion from the current deficit over the next decade, including a 15￠ per gallon increase in the national gasoline fuel tax between 2013 and 2015.
