OUTLOOK'20: US ethanol industry to face lower production, political issues

HOUSTON (ICIS)--The US biofuel industry is expected to continue its clash with the oil industry as more small refinery waivers are granted through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Previously, a coalition of ethanol and agriculture filed suit in the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, requesting the court to move forward on a lawsuit filed in June 2018 challenging the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) issuance of refinery waivers to the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
