China petchem shares fall on fears of Wuhan virus spreading

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The shares of major Chinese petrochemical firms fell sharply on Wednesday on jitters over the spread of Wuhan coronavirus and its far reaching implications on economy, trade and travel. At 03:00 GMT, Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co was down by 1.76% while PetroChina was 1.21% lower on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE).
