SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Asian petrochemical shares plunged in early trade on Wednesday, tracking steep losses in US stocks overnight, on the back of rising coronavirus cases around the world especially in Europe and South Korea. US stocks plunged into deep red overnight as virus concerns intensified after the Center for Disease Control warned Americans to be prepared for the spread of the coronavirus within US communities.
