LONDON (ICIS)--OPEC+’s desire to extend production cuts is continuing to prove controversial for some members. Crude futures were down on Monday despite talk over the weekend that hinted at a continuation of the current OPEC+ cuts, which were put into place on 1 May. OPEC was considering meeting as soon as this week to discuss whether to extend record production cuts beyond the end of June.
