Growing naphtha demand from Asia-Pacifc petrochemicals producers sup- ported prices, while frm fuel oil and vacuum gasoil (VGO) values in the Mediter- ranean market attracted cargoes from northwest Europe. Trading company Trafgura booked the Navig8 Goal to load 80,000t of naph- tha at the Russian Black Sea port of Tuapse on 10-15 October, bound for Japan. Naphtha switched from a small premium to North Sea Dated crude to its widest discount in almost two weeks, at 28¢/bl, with margins settling as the impact of Hurricane Harvey on the US Gulf coast products market waned.
