Gazprom details 2018 infrastructure spending

Gazprom will exceed its initial plans for spending on transport and LNG infra- structure projects this year, although expenditure on its large export pipelines will be either fat or down compared with 2017. Total 2018 infrastructure investment comes to nearly Rbs763bn ($11.6bn) under the recently revised plan, up from the Rbs707bn approved in late 2017 (see table). Most of the rise is accounted for by the 1.5mn t/yr Portovaya LNG and 2mn t/yr Kaliningrad LNG projects on the Baltic Sea and the 870km Gryazovets- Slavyanskaya feeder pipeline for the 55bn m~3/yr Nord Stream 2 export project.
