BP committed to Rosneft

BP’s outgoing senior managers have reiterated the frm’s commitment to its “strategic partnership” with Rosneft, following speculation that the major might consider selling its stake in the Russian frm. “It is a great partnership... It is strategic. It has enormous optionality,” chief executive Bob Dudley says. Chief fnancial ofcer Brian Gilvary says “the current version” of the alliance looks “very positive from BP’s perspective… The idea that Rosneft will be non-strategic for us in this next decade has no foundation. We see it as a very important relationship going forward.”
