Azerbaijan has warned of a potential threat to crude exports from the Caspian region because of military confict on its border with Armenia. “Some of the infrastructure used to transport energy resources from the Cas-pian to international markets are in the immediate vicinity of the zone of military operations,” Azeri state-owned oil company Socar's vice-president for investment and marketing, Elshad Nasirov, told a recent video conference held by think-tank the Caspian Policy Centre.
