Anti-dumping policies introduction in GCC countries hardly possible despite import influx

Despite significant steel import growth in GCC countries, the introduction of anti-dumping policies against cheapforeign material is hardly possible in near future as it would favour only individual manufacturers.Volumes of imported steel have sharply increased into GCC region over the year. In January-April 2015 GCC countriesimported 835,900 t of steel more than during the same period in 2014, according to statistical data.
