Turkish mills interested in Chinese square billet

Square billet from China is in demand in Turkey owing to attractive prices. Although CIS semis suppliers have been giving discounts since late August, market players inform that contracts for the Chinese material were made. Turkish mills also had to be flexible in the home market amidst the trends in imports. According to market sources, in Marmara region a few contracts for Chinese square billet have been signed with international traders at $507-508/t CFR for October shipment.
