摘要

Red phosphor Y_2O_2S:Sm~(3+) was synthesized successfully by combustion method using sulfourea (CH4N2S) as a fuel for the first time. The crystal structure and particle morphology were investigated by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) patterns, respectively. The luminescent properties were studied by excitation spectra and emission spectra in this paper. The excitation spectra indicate that the phosphor can be excited effectively by the UV-LED or blue LED, and the emission spectra show that the phosphor can emit red light from 600 to 650 nm.
