摘要

This invention relates to a composition of a near ultraviolet (NUV) to white light converting mixed metal oxides and silicate nanoceramic phosphor which is useful in designing efficient color conversion LED lamp and the process of preparation of the same. The phosphor emits color luminescence ranging from blue, green to red/ far red and bears a composition of xMO-yMO-zMO-(100-x- y-z)SiO 2 , wherein M denotes a metal from alkaline earth category; M, represents a metal or group of metals from transition metal category; M, represents an element or group of elements from rare earth / transition metal group, and x, y and z lay respectively in the range 3x≤10, 45y55 and 0≤z≤1.0. The white-light quality of the phosphors emission vary with its composition as well as with the wavelength (X.) of its excitation radiation in the range 270 λ.375 nm. The invention also relates to the technology of fabrication of LED lamps using the phosphor.
