Prysmian, Nexans & Siemens supply Arkona windfarm

The suppliers for the ?1.2 billion ($1.4 billion) Arkona offshore windfarm situated in the Baltic Sea, 35km north-east of the island of Rügen, Germany are now all in place, CRU Wire & Cable News canreport.Prysmian is supplying the export cable, Nexans is producing the array cables, while Siemens isproviding the 60 wind turbines on monopole foundations needed for the project. VBMS will install theinter array cables.
