Continuing fall in Chinese steel output

Crude steel production in China decreased 1.7% year-on-year in May to 69.95 Mt, according to data from the National Statistical Bureau data. Though higher than this April's total of 68.91 Mt, the daily average in May was 2.256 Mt, down from 2.297 Mt the month before.
