According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $1.759/gal on Feb. 8, a 6.3c/gal drop from the Feb. 1 price and the lowest since Jan. 2009. Ohio's $1.473/gal was the lowest price for gasoline, while Los Angeles, California's $2.634/gal was the highest price. RFG's national average setded at $1.961/gal—a decrease of 5.6c/gal on the week. Houston, Texas' $1.516/gal was the lowest price for RFG, while the highest was Los Angeles, CA's $2.634/gal.
