LKAB Returns to Profitability in 3Q

According to the consolidated financial results in the quarter of July-September released by LKAB of a Swedishstate-run mining company, its production quantity of iron ore was 6,800 thousand tons, up 15.3% from the same quarterlast year, and its sales quantity was 7,200 thousand tons, also up 16.1% ditto. The company continued efficiency improvementsand cost savings, primarily, as a result of productivity-raising efforts in daily operations and more efficient capacityutilization.
