Japan’s No2 HMS Export Prices Edge Down for Taiwan, Vietnam

Prices of No2 HMS edged down last week in negotiations between sellers and buyers on new deals for ferrous scrap exports out of Japan to Taiwan and Vietnam, while the corresponding negotiations scarcely made progress on new exports of No2 HMS to South Korea. As a result, new negotiated exports of No2 HMS as a whole ended in slack growth then. Japan’s ferrous scrap export market was somewhat short on signs of its direction last week, but it seems to have stopped its repetitive decline.
