The actual quantities ( on material base ) of molybdenum supplied and consumed in Japan during the first nine months ( January - September ) of 2010 have been traced. Japan imported 23,769 tons in material of molybdenum oxide in January - September of 2010, which exceeded that ( 22,141 tons in material ) imported into Japan in the calender year ( January - December ) of 2009 and had a considerable increase of 51.3% compared with that imported in the same period of 2009 as the imports in 2009 were restrictive.
