摘要

Clinical teachers are integral to the education of health professionals. They are usually individuals who have several years of practical experience in patient-facing setting's, an interest in teaching and mentoring, and a practice site that is conducive to education and training. Clinical teachers combine their professional commitments with teaching activities within a real-life context to help students apply theory in practice and transform knowledge into skills. It is particularly important for clinical teachers to model and assess professional attitudes and behaviours that are critical for success in practice.
