Settlement for community contract in England expected before end of May

A FUNDING settlement for the community pharmacy contract in England is expected soon, possibly by the end of May 2014, according to Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee chief executive Sue Sharpe. Speaking to participants at this week's Sigma Pharmaceuticals conference, held in Cancun, Mexico, Mrs Sharpe provided assurances that progress has been made but conceded that an announcement could not be made yet.
