Wockhardt will be reimbursing returns

WOCKHARDT'S managing director, Sirijiwan Singh, has told The Journal that his company "will make reasonable efforts" to reimburse costs to pharmacists if patients want to return any of the medicines that were subject to a "precautionary" recall by the medicines regulator last week. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency recalled 16 prescription-only medicines after it found deficiencies at the company's Waluj site in India following a routine inspection in March 2013.
