Successes at EAPF launch conference

THE ongoing work of the NHS Future Forum and the fact that its members have achieved successful implementation of 282 of 283 recommendations in the White Paper was highlighted when Ash Soni, national pharmacy representative on the forum, delivered the plenary session at the East Anglia Practice Forum launch conference at the University of East Anglia (UEA). Pharmacists should get more actively involved in disease prevention and helping patients avoid over use of medicines through healthier life styles, the conference was told. Participants commented that the presentation was "thought provoking" and provided an "inspiring session on what pharmacists should be doing".
