GP system okayed for EPS R2 roll out

GP system supplier Egton Medical Information Systems has.received approval for full roll-out of release 2 of the electronic prescription service, NHS Connecting for Health has said. EMIS Web is the first GP facility to achieve EPS release 2 compliance and will enable GPs using the system to send prescriptions electronically to pharmacies.
