In February 2008, Lord Darzi visited the offices of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society as part of a Society "Darzi Day". Frustratingly, he omitted to mention community pharmacy during his presentation when describing the need to reduce the complexity of patient pathways as part of the drive towards improving the quality of healthcare across the NHS.
