This week we carry a thought-provoking Broad spectrum article (p146), berating the profession, and the many bodies that provide some form of representation for pharmacists, for not exhibiting clear leadership.Gareth Burke compares pharmacy with medicine and dentistry as the professions to emulate and asks why pharmacy does not have a heavyweight trade union that represents all pharmacists like the British Medical Association and the British Dental Association do doctors and dentists, respectively.
