At 1 Lambeth High Street there is one of the oldest collections of specifically pharmacy-oriented material in the world.It is used for research and it is consulted by many people,not only pharmacists.At the moment,any pharmacist can ring up the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's library with a query,and get a prompt accurate answer to their question.When the General Pharmaceutical Council is formed,only those who are members of the new professional body will be able to access this service as part of their membership fee - all others will have to pay.
