Change in UK law to allow dispensing of EEA and Swiss prescriptions from 3 November

From next month UK pharmacists will be authorised to dispense prescriptions that originate in some European countries.The changes to UK legislation come into effect on 3 November giving pharmacists the option to dispense prescriptions that have been written by a practising doctor or dentist in Switzerland or the European Economic Area,which includes all EU states as well as Norway,Iceland and Liechtenstein.
