The Scottish Pharmacy Board has elected Sandra Melville as its new chairman and Alistair Jack as its vice-chairman.Mrs Melville,who takes over from Rose Marie Parr,has been a board member since January 2007 and is a member of two of its working groups(premises and communications).She has over 20 years'experience in the profession and is a member of several professional bodies,including the College of Pharmacy Practice and the British Oncology Pharmacy Association,as well as the NHS Highland Area Pharmaceutical Committee.She is clinical pharmacy manager for Lorn and Islands District General Hospital.
