Technicians and lay members allocated to regions for first time

For the first time,lay and technician members,as well as pharmacist members,of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society'Council are to be included in Council representation on English regional committees.Previously,regional committees were allocated at least two pharmacist Council members.Presenting the proposal at the July Council meeting,JOHN GENTLE said that the move would put lay members in contact,in a more direct basis,with some of the pharmacy activists around England.In turn,this'would increase these activists'understanding of the role of the Council.
