Last week The Journal mistakenly suggested that the Transitional Committee's membership working group had not had access to the findings of the survey "Have your say!" before it deliberated the membership options for the professional body (PJ, 30 August 2008,p228).We are happy to set the record straight. Although the analysis was incomplete, The Journal was told after it had gone to press that the group had been privy to the findings from over 3,000 responses, which, according to chairman of the working group Martin Astbury,"greatly facilitated" the discussions (Letters, p263).The headline findings of "Have your say!" are to be released at the British Pharmaceutical Conference and extra details will be published in next week's issue.
