New funding in Scotland will allow community pharmacists to set up or continue to run supplementary prescribing clinics.The funding is an extension of an existing scheme and is a temporary initiative until the chronic medication service is introduced.It provides community pharmacists with pound 150 a week to fund either a half-day clinic each week or a full-day clinic per fortnight.A further pound 500 is available for start-up costs.
