GPs should clearly state their intentions

In light of the law suit against Lloydspharmacy concerning the dispensing of dexamethasone tablets (PJ,14 October,p440),I suggest GPs should write either "maintenance dose" or "one-off dose" on prescriptions for steroids to indicate clearly what their intentions are.
