Re: Different surgical findings in congenital and acquired undescended testes

This series compares the anatomy of 139 boys with 158 early diagnosed undescended testes to that of 69 boys with 84 ascending testes. A smaller percentage of boys with ascending testes had a patent processus vaginalis. These patients also presented with lower testes and a decreased incidence of epididymal anomalies compared to the congenital early diagnosed group.
